I've just tried 'dos' on my laptop in a CLI-window (ie no X) and found
to my pleasure that it now works (no colour, but that's actually an
improvement for the program in question!). Previously it would complain
about no display open and die.
(This is just as well, because in an X-window dos currently gives
vm_died!)
Is this not-unwelcome change an intended new facility or just a random
change in a config file?
