Hi!

Actually Lynne, reading his message this is actually relevant to Windows and
does not have anything to do with Fusion.

Firstly, Fusion does run faster under Lion with Fusion 4, there is no question
about that and also works with Windows 8. That is what I use.

One important thing to understand here is that if you enter an authorization
with JAWS or similar products, they often depend on the hardware
specifications. This means that if you change RAM, JAWS will think it is an
entirely new computer and wants you to reauthorize the application and use
another key. Keeping in mind that you are potentially changing the
specifications but virtually, this has the same effect and also has the same
effect on a physical PC.

To make the old authorization work again, simply return the specifications to
those which you were using when the authorization was working for you, down to
the last detail. Again, this applies to a physical PC as well, which is why I
deemed it relevant.

This is in part why I use NVDA, as it allows me to experiment with various
configurations without having to use all five JAWS activations. I suppose that
you could find the best configuration for you then authorize JAWS, or simply
load NVDA onto your machine then authorize JAWS if you find that you like the
current configuration.

Regards,
Nic
