Hi Karl Have you considered the WordWeb dictionaries to go with it? Lynne bought me the full collection and, although I haven't used them in a while, and I've probably forgotten how, I remember being very impressed by those as well.

As for Word documents, I have opened up a dot doc file just by using the open with dialog and pointing the extension at Jart. I think there is supposed to be a file extension selection somewhere in Jart but haven't looked to hard. According to the FAQ, it is supposed to be able to open Word 2007 format as well - I'll try that out now. It is certainly more useable and snappy on my little Samsung notebook than either Word 2007 or 2010, and that is my most important factor. ======================================= To post to this group, please send your message to: [email protected] The Windows-Access E-Mail forum is guaranteed malware, spyware, Trojan, virus and worm-free To modify your subscription options, please visit your personalise subscriber options page, located at http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/mailman/listinfo/windows-access You can find an archive of all messages posted to the Windows-Access forum at either of the following websites: http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/windows-access/index.html Or: <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]> you may also subscribe to this list via RSS.
