Hi all A few days ago we purchased a full version of Windows 8.1 Professional. This was not an upgrade, it was supposed to be a full version. Microsoft sent us a download link to a Windows executable setup box which was supposed to give us the ability to download the ISO image. But how, may I ask, are you supposed to run the executable if, as in our case, Windows isn’t installed on the machine yet? Also, when I tried to run this from a Windows machine, each time I try to download the image I get this stupid message about something bad happening before the download even starts. What are they playing at here, anybody know? Also does anybody know of a way to legally download the ISO image of Windows 8.1? I’m not looking for anything illegal here, we paid our money for this and now cannot get it. So far, Microsoft haven’t answered my support ticket.
