Gordon,

When you change the keyboard layout from desktop to laptop, you can still use 
the insert key by default. It's just that you should also be able to use the 
caps lock key as well, so while you can press insert-f7 to bring up your links 
list, for example, you should also be able to use caps lock F7 to bring it up, 
too. I just did it using version 15.0.110 and IE, as well as Firefox.

I’ve actually done all this, but the Jaws key has not changed from its default 
of “Insert” it would appear.  Of course it is highly possible I overlooked 
something or simply never saved the profile after making the change.  I’m human 
like everybody else around here, and I can make errors. :)

Thanks for the advice, it’s very much appreciated.  I’m still a relative novice 
regarding JAWS but I am working to rectify that situation as a matter of high 
priority.  Actually, I’m hoping to become JAWS Certified in the not too distant 
as it would add to my employability.
