I think that he means that Linux users will not expect to see 'C:\' in the file
dialogs for apps ported using WINE.
Our tree has several mods that make C:\ look like /, and D:\ look like ~/. And
in the file dialogs they have captions beside them like 'The System', and 'My Home'.
Lots of this code is build into the file dialogs in a clean way, but we also have a
hack that watches calls like DrawText and such like, looking for DOS paths and
displaying them as UNIX paths (dropping the drive letter and flipping the direction
of slashes). It's not perfect, but it's better than 'C:\'.
