I forgot about that discussion.

Wordpad won't start up, and notepad died on file->Open.

With --synchronous, file->Open on notepad dies with an exception (but
the debugger doesn't start), and wordpad gets stuck holding locks.

Does this sort of thing look familiar to anyone? Or should I start
trying to do binary searches between the two released wine versions?
