It seems the serial is just reversed.
Maybe some endianness problem.

It's not only the serial number, but also the label (capital letters).
Hmm, but why that ?
Maybe NT cmd converts FRANCE -> France ?
Could you PLEASE run
dd if=/dev/cdrom of=/tmp/testfile count=300
and send me testfile.gz ?
