Just as a small notice: We do have the same problems when using ExtractIcon at the moment. This function parses the PE file directly (if its detected as PE, not as NE, ico or bmp). On this place we would need a better way to extract the image resources from built in dlls. Its hopefully possible to solve both problems in one go. (SHELL32.ExtractIcon is going to be replaced by USER32.PrivateExtractIcons so this should be solved somewhere in a KERNEL32 function, not with a hack in VERSION.DLL) juergen --- [EMAIL PROTECTED] ... from sunny Berlin
