Shift-Del does not work well :-(

   Hi,


   I have a problem in notepad. When I hit Shift-Del It cuts the
selected text all-right, but then it inserts a '.'. Ctrl-X works fine.

   The edit control does receive a WM_CHAR message so I guess the
problem is in the keyboard code. Can anyone shed some light on this one?
