Instead of just redrawing the attendance lines how about considering something like this:

Leave Rollingstone and Dakota as K-5 schools because this is where future growth is likely to occur. Make Jefferson and W-K grade 3-4 schools. Make GV, Madison, and Central K-2 schools. Close Lincoln and move its offices and programs into the empty spaces of the 5 in town buildings. Don't rent any new space.

I agree Paul. Moving CE to Rollingstone would not be a good idea. The
solution the community and myself have been promoting is to redraw the
attendance areas. We have looked at that for many years and have never
done
it to my recollection. With all the new housing going up in Stockton and
Minnesota City as well as possibilities in Rollingstone, it would only
make
sense to fill the school you are paying for, has small class sizes, a
great
community participation, and the latest in technology and nature. I
really
don't understand why it takes an extra year to develop these boundaries.
After all we did spend many dollars on transportation software. Also the
two tier bussing would make this a pretty easy decision. Other districts
in
Minnesota and Wisconsin are doing this right now. The LaCrosse School
district has done it at least twice . Dick Gaffron
