You may own a piece of Wal-Mart and not even know it.
Are you or anyone in your family set up in a 401(k),
403(b) or 457(k) retirement plan? If so, does any
part of that portfolio invest in mutual funds? Many
large-cap, index and growth/income mutual funds invest
a portion of their holdings to Wal-Mart corporation.

You should review your funds Annual Report to see if
you do own a share of Wal-Mart or you can check out
your funds top holdings online at Yahoo Finance or a
similar reputable source. It could be difficult to
find funds that dont include Wal-Mart without going
to fixed securities or even bond funds. The yields
generally arent as great but you would divest
yourself of the irony of contributing your money
towards a corporation you loathe.
