[Winona Online Democracy]

Ruth Marg was kind enough to send me an update from Dr. Bartleson regarding the teacher's recent settlement. (Thanks Ruth!) I'm only forwarding the health insurance portion.

It would be nice to compare this to other government entities. Does anyone know if there's a website that would have this kind of information on our state employees, governor, legislators etc.? I'm also wondering how this compares to other people's insurance plans. (Nosy aren't I) I will say that when we were part of a group insurance rate at my husband's previous employer, our premium was over $750/month. We've now switched to an MSA and pretty much pay everything out of pocket, including prescriptions, but it's cheaper than $750.00/month.

"The district offers two different health plans for employees, and one of
the plans offers three different levels of deductible, so the premiums
vary. The district pays 100% of the cost of single insurance for full
time employees. The premium ranges from $3937 to $4,463 annually. For family
insurance, the district will contribute $7,200 annually for a full time
employee. The premium ranges from $10,276 to $12,691 annually."
