To add to Craig's comments, there is no county contribution toward dental or
disability. Those costs (dental $38.27 per pay period) and disabilty (amount
is set as a dollar amount per thousand of coverage) is fully picked up by
the employee.

There had been a request about other Gov't Unit's insurance coverage.  The
following is the current Winona County Personnel Dept. summary for County
employees:
(County intentionally created a financial incentive toward the managed care
choice of Triple Gold.)
(For most contracts, and there are four or five unions, the employer pays
the single plus half of the balance for family coverage.)

Winona County's Health Insurance Rates are as follows:

Triple Gold Plan

Family coverage $992.10, Single coverage $389.33  (Co. portion =
$690.72, Employee portion = $301.38)  (County pays full single premium
$389.33)

CMM Plan

Family coverage $1063.23, Single coverage $417.37 (Co. portion =
$258.73, Employee portion = $804.50)  or (Co. portion =$233.73, Employee
portion = $829.50 depending on when you were hired)     (County pays
$183.73 towards single insurance)

Traditional (First Dollar) Plan

Family coverage $1220.82, Single coverage $477.93 (Co. portion =
$258.70, Employee portion = $962.12)or (Co. portion =$233.70, Employee
portion = $987.12 depending on when you were hired)   (County pays
$183.73 towards single insurance)
