Institution reported the largest gas storage withdrawal of the season --
a
195-Bcf drawdown for the week ending Jan 23. Working gas in storage
nationwide now stands at 2.063 Tcf. Despite the hefty withdrawal, the
surplus above the year-ago level widened to 334 Bcf from 282 Bcf a
week ago, although the surplus over the five-year average shrank to
163 Bcf from 193 Bcf the prior week.
