No,

I know of no approved Minnesota Health Insurance Company who sells
individual healthcare or dental insurance plans who does not currently
have "the opportunity to purchase the same by without discrimination". Some
do even charge more for those who smoke. If denied, individuals can still
have the opportunity to purchase MCHA insurance and they are guaranteed
coverage. Insurance access is open and guaranteed to anyone willing to
write the check. Those who can not write the check should be covered under
Minnesota Care funded by all of us via the state government.

Employer participation is best handled by simply by putting the money in the
payroll check of their employees. That is non discriminatory and solves the
problem. If you want it buy it yourself. If you need a second job because
one makes to much money to qualify for Minnesota Care then people need to
set their priorities and respond accordingly. Life is tough in the big
city!

________
When people are advocating getting employers out of the business of
providing health care benefits, are the same people advocating single payer
health care - paid for by the government?
