[Winona Online Democracy] With help from Mediawerks I have been working on a website dedicated to Winona's famous aviator, Max Conrad. Actually this started a few years ago after reading the book about Max, "Into the Wind - The Story of Max Conrad". After reading the book, I had created a rough draft website, that remained unfinished for a couple of years. Then towards the end of 2003 I received an email from Max's daughter, Judy De Ryan complementing me on the effort. She sent me a large packet of copies of old newspaper articles, telegrams from former presidents, large photos, and sheet music.
Max wrote music on his long distance flights and it was published as sheet music and records. The sheet music has "Published by Conrad Publishing Co. Winona, Minnesota". I was wondering if anyone had heard of Conrad Publishing or ever heard any of the music? Titles I have are: My Cabin Window, Flyer's Rosary, Let's Fly, The Hills of Sicily, and The Endless Sea.
