When Target opened, I remember the high school band marching through the store.
For Wal-Mart, I'm thinking something on the order of black arm bands as worn to signify mourning in years gone by would be appropriate.

I haven't read much of the article yet. It's probably nothing new, but the account of Inver Grove Heights' Wal-Mart grand opening festivities makes me wonder what kind of celebration Winona is going to conduct when ours opens. Will it be the usual Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors ribbon cutting or something more elaborate?
