The Public Forum on the Patriot Act postponed.
The Public Forum on the Patriot Act scheduled for Monday, March 22nd from
7:00-8:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall in Winona has been
postponed.
The sponsors of the forum, the Winona Area Peacemakers, League of Women
Voters, Winona Online Democracy and Winona Catholic Worker were committed to
providing a balanced panel and have been unable to find speakers who are in
favor of the Patriot Act to participate.
We will continue our efforts in seeking individuals to speak in support of
the Patriot Act so that we may reschedule this public forum on a later date.
