[Winona Online Democracy]
For those of you who are concerned about the
plans for the Dredge Thompson on the levee, you might like to check out www.maritimeheritagesociety.org.
I recently heard a presentation about it and understand that the planners are
working with the Corps of Engineers, Fish & Wildlife, the Historical
Society, CVB, and most any other organization that might be interested or
involved. The plans are very impressive and may be just what Winona
needs on the levee.
