Coincidently, I was just reading of this organization that Terri mentioned and an interview that will be held on Wis Public Radio at 8 am Tues.. I believe it will be archived too.
Perhaps this will relate to Dwayne's noting that the media standby. I trust Spinsanity would question any administration that seems to mitigate the role of a free press in our country. Maybe we can talk about the show in our posts.

Just wanted to let everyone know about a website I discovered which attempts to 'counter rhetoric with reason". Spinsanity.org bills itself as "The nation's leading watchdog of manipulative political rhetoric.". Spinsanity can be reached at :

The site is supposed to be non-partisan. They do cover a wide range of topics, with the presidential race being prominent right now. The site also features a decent search engine if you want to see what they have to say about specific issues.
I wanted to throw this out there for all of us who are trying to sort through rhetoric to get to some hard facts.
