Following up on the
announcement of candidate forums,these forums need your assistance.
Each event uses up to 9 volunteers in capacities such as hosts,
phone call takers, and question
sorters.
Please contact Lynn Theurer at
[EMAIL PROTECTED] if you could volunteer for one
or more of these forums.
The League of Women Voters, Winona Unit is co-sponsoring a series
of candidate
Forums with the Women's Resource Center of Winona, the American
Association of
University Women, Winona Area PTA Council and Winona On-Line
Democracy.
The forums are
Primary Election Dates:
Wednesday, September 1 - City Council at Large and Ward #3
Wednesday, September 8 � School Board District #
5
General Election Dates:
Tuesday, September 21 � Winona County Board Districts 3 & 4
Wednesday, September 29 � City of Winona: Mayor& Council
Positions At
Large & Ward 3
Thursday, September 30 � Winona Area Public Schools Board Districts
4 & 5
Wednesday, October 6 - MN House of Representatives 31A and
28B
Tuesday, October 19 - Winona
County Soil & Water Supervisor District #3
