I would just like to say that I agree with what Paul
Double said in one of his last postings. We need to focus on our
quality. Nothing will drive students out of the public system faster than
reduction of the quality. We need to keep our quality programs in math,
science and language, and civics at the upper levels and strong reading and
math and other basics at the lower levels.
We need to consolidate for efficiencies, not water down
the educational opportunities.
