[Winona Online Democracy]

This morning at the Winona Chamber conference call to the state chamber the
subject of a state wide assessment for clean water and the ability of the
federal government to "stop" all industrial grown was discussed. The
proposal would tax, or maybe a fee, every connection point into a municipal
sewage system and "every septic tank" in the state of Minnesota $36. I
would hope the Winona Daily News, Winona Post and Winona Radio will keep us
assessed of the real possibility of this becoming the law of the land!

The "Out House" may be the only non taxable retreat left in the state. Save
your Penny's catalogs. It may also be time to visit the Historical Society
to check out the two story models and multi hole popular models of times
past.
