Robert Kaldunski has brought up a good point...A
lot of methane gas has been exhausted into the atmosphere because, until now,
saving
and putting it to use has been
cost-prohibitive. Now, with other fuels costing more and moving up, may be
a good time to see if we can develop efficient extraction methods to make it a
viable alternative fuel. Landfills are another source that discharges
large amounts of
methane.
A lot of information is available. I would
suggest a visit to our libraries. Others would be better qualified to refer
interested individuals
to qualified
authorities.
