[Winona Online Democracy] The City Council will be starting to fill the added space at the City Hall adding another layer of government and additional taxes based on a news report from Winona Radio Friday July 14th.
Community Services Director Reports to the City Manager Those that will report to the new position are The Library Director The Arts and Culture Director (I didn't even know this one existed) The Recreational Director The lion share of the $66,000 starting salary will be paid from the recreation department and or library budget. Another subsidy from your property taxes for arts and cultural activities!!! Will no one file for the City Council to stop this foolishness? Or will anyone on this Council have the guts to say no the City Manager!!
