It's MR Hittner.

All of the "natural" sources and a few campfires, I expect. But keep in mind,
the global climate IS
complex. It is what is migh be termed a co-evolving or coupled system. That
means other factors such as Solar cycles, draughts or wet cycles, abnormally
high or low volcanic activity, etc ALL PLAY A ROLE.

Here is a very simple example:

A point in one of the the solar cycles brings about an increase in radiation
that stimulates plant growth which in turn increases CO2 and H2O (water vapor)
levels in the atmosphere which drives an upward rise in atmospheric
temperature. Back when you and I were in school, scientists seemed always to
concentrate on system stability. Equlibrium was the big word in Physics and
Chemistry. One of the reasons for that is that the underlying math was far too
complex. The study of dynamic systems has only really taken off since the early
eighties (with the tremendous increase in computer power). We now know that
real systems are never stable for long. "Equilibrium" is merely a brief period
during change.

So...CO2 levels have always been changing. Climate has always been changing.
Multiple factors have always been present.

The present question is, "Is human activity a (relatively) new factor in
climate change"? Most recent scientific research seems to say "YES."

  Mrs/Ms Hitner,
I dont know where it is coming from...Can you tell me why there were spikes
in the Bronze age as well? Certainly it was coming from somehere then as well
correct? I need you to clarify that for me so I can better make an accurate
decision.

  regards
