Hi,

I was getting an error installing WinPcap, saying that it was already installed, but it wasn't.

So I followed some advice and deleted "npf.sys" from system32\drivers and now my PC wont start.

I guess I am going to copy "npf.sys" from a working PC and hope that fixes it, but I cant try it until I leave work.

Was it really ok to delete npf.sys and should copying the file back over hopefully fix it?

Thanks,

Aaron
