This might be a little off topic, but hope someone can help.
Long time ago i successfully build a ethernet bridge using winpcap.
We've been using it a long time for gaming.
I would now like to update it so it runs directly using tap devices only.
I trying to make it work with raw ethernet frames.
I've been looking everywhere for information as to why i cannot get
it to work.
I can capture packets from my tap device just fine.
But packets send to the tap device are not seen by Windows,
wireshark or any other winpcap based program.
I have used many hours on looking and reading, but to no avail.
I know you can bridge the tap device with your lan nic, but that is
not what i want.
Seems programs like Hamachi and others can accomplish
handling raw ethernet packets without doing so.
If anyone has any information on how to do this,
or if anyone could please point me in the right direction,
that would be really nice.
