Hi, I'm using winpcap with a Dell TrueMobile 1150 mini-PCI card, which is really an OEM'd Orinoco Gold card, and it works great.
Note however that you get the Ethernet packets that are carried in the 802.11 frames, not all 802.11 frames (in particular not the management frames and such), so it just works like it would with a wired Ethernet card. Haven't tried to see if promiscuous mode works either. Jacques.
