Thanks for the ideas.  While the buffer idea is a good one, unfortunately
I'm simply using the software to sniff packets with Analyzer, rather than
developing for Winpcap.  If there's a way for me to tweak my system's
buffers, I don't know it.

I believe this problem is due to the install routine creating registry keys,
then removing those same keys.  (I have log files indicating this is
happening)  As I do not have an SMP system, I have submitted a bug report.
