Hi,

I am wondering if someone can help me out with this PPP adapter monitoring
problem on my Win2k system: I can use Windump (v3.8a) with WinPcap (v3.0a)
to monitor all INBOUND traffic on my PPP adapter (called NDISWan) connected
to a GPRS handset (i.e. equivalent to serial modem connection). However, I
cannot see any outbound traffic. Incidentally, I have exactly the same
problem with my wireless adapters, regardless of manufacturer (so far I have
tried Cisco, Nokia, Lucent): again, Windump only displays inbound traffic.

I have read the FAQs and am aware that the wireless LAN adapters and PPP
adapters are "unsupported" as such, but I thought that since it clearly
works to display half of the traffic, then maybe someone has had the same
experience as me and has come up with a fix.

If not, then maybe someone else can suggest which tool I can use to produce
a TCPDUMP like trace that can be fed directly into TCPTRACE, for my PPP
adapter (fingers crossed and hoping that someone has a hint to make my
WINDUMP work, because that would be the neatest way).

Many thanks in advance!

MiloMan
