Hi
I was earlier using aeropeek, but for want of more control and
flexiblity to our needs would like to migrate to WinPcap / ethereal to
develop a wireless sniffer.

Currrently I am capable to get the raw wireless frames captured and
dumped on the desktop as a binary file and would like to move ahead
and interface with the adaptor / mac layer with WinPcap.

The problems I am facing are:
1) How do I transfer the rf information to ethereal (WinPcap seems to
be converting wireless packet to fake Ethernet packets do not have
those fields)
I would like to capture in etheral the following fields :
Signal, channel, rate, noise, actual time of getting aired and not the
time at which it reaches the windows.

2) In what format does my card/driver dump packets to the winpcap and
how does it inform at packet arrival?

3) If I could get an interface document it will be good. Online
documentation does not have any reference to the exported functions.

Regards
