Dear Dave, Good to hear from you. In fact, although Alberto is waiting for RF Space to send him a SDRIQ to test, I read on their yahoo group list that Pieter has managed to get one to work without modifications to the winrad code. Pieter had previously thought that since the internal firmware of the SDRIQ had been modified and was not the same as the SDR14, that it probably would require a different DLL just for it. It seems that all you need to do is follow the instructions for loading and registering (in windows) the DLL written for the SDR14. These are also selections on www.winrad.org where you get the latest version of winrad. If you do not have the latest, then you should get it and write over your existing version. You do not need to uninstall first.
Alberto uses Virtual Audio Cable in his shack. I have it installed but only used it once and initially found it a bit obtuse so I had to ask Alberto for instructions. Then it was not difficult. I have added this email to the Winrad public list so everyone can benefit from the answers. First update winrad then install the SDR14 DLL. Then when you are able to see and control the SDRIQ then write again to the list and explain exactly what path you want to create with your audio. Alberto will help you. 73, Jeffrey Pawlan, WA6KBL _______________________________________________ Winrad mailing list [email protected] http://winrad.org/mailman/listinfo/winrad_winrad.org
