Thanks Jeffery and Alberto for your kind help and suggestions.

I went to the winrad.com and downloaded the SDR-14 support files. I
unzipped and placed these in the Winrad directory and registered the
dll as instructed in the Wirad manual, Appendix A. This did not work
for me, as Winrad still told me that the SDR-14 was not connected.

I then called Pieter at RFSPACE, and was instructed to go to
www.moetronix.com/svdownload.htm and download the active x which is
located in the sdr14xsdk109.zip file (there are several zips inside
this file, the one needed is sdr14x109.zip).

Unzipping the files into the Winrad directory, I ran register, and
then started Winrad. Sure enough, the SDR-IQ shows up in the SELECT
INPUT menu. This works, MOSTLY. The problem is that winrad operation
is a bit erratic, with a-periodic dropouts. These dropouts will last
from a second to several seconds, and then operation will return to
seemingly normal. I have no idea what causes this. If someone has
tried this and obtained a different, stable result, let me hear from you.

Otherwise, I look forward to seeing I2PHD write a DLL that will
overcome this glitch. Winrad and SDR-IQ will be a great combination
when things are finally working correctly.

Dave, W5UN
