We use the RAD-Series RADIUS server from Interlink Networks. (Was Merit
RADIUS many moons ago.) It is available for Linux & Solaris. (We use
Solaris.) They also have other RADIUS products for wireless that runs on
Windows.

Are people using OpenSource or Commercial?
Commercial

What RADIUS systems have been the easiest to configure?
This has been fairly easy for us to configure & Tech Support is
responsive. We've also been a beta site for them, which doesn't hurt,
either. ;-) Our configuration is somewhat unique, we use the RAD server
for both dial-up and wireless - the actual AAA policies & permissions
are stored in LDAP.

What RADIUS systems have been the biggest headaches?

Can't really say. We've worked with Merit, then Interlink when they
were spun off. We've been very satisfied with their product.
