How much you have to pay is going depend on your bargaining skills, but it's going to be a lot more than the WLSE - plus you have to buy a server to run it on (not a big deal, but part of the total bill nonetheless.) Is it worth it? Several of us think so...

As for discovery, it is *so* much better than the WLSE at this it's almost worth it just for that alone. Just feed it an address range and some access params and away you go. Contrast this to the hoops you have to jump through for the WLSE discovery (like say for instance if you don't use the same community string on your switches that you do on your APs or want to have them set up to accept connections from your wireless NMS) and you will see what I mean.

I am sure the fine folks in San Mateo will be happy to set you up with a demo so you can try it for yourself. Right Bryan? ;)
