Hello from Syracuse University.

1. Thousands of individual sessions per day, but the concurrent total varies
between 500-800 across around 275 APs.

2. Around 275 now, tripling in the next 2 years, with some potential mesh
thrown in.

3. Campus has 2 OC3s (Internet 1 and Internet 2 each have 1). 100 MB to each AP.

4. Not sure what you're asking, but wireless is using the same network as LAN,
though VLAN'd off to it's own logical spaces

5. We are using half a/g, half b that will be upgraded. Speeds will vary
greatly depending on number of users per AP, which radio they are attached to,
what they are doing, etc. Hard to say "6 Mbps" or "27 MBps"- just too many
variables.

Regards-

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to do a quick survey about wireless, if you have a minute
your input would be greatly appreciated.

1. Number of user on your Wireless network?
2. Number of AP's?
3. What type of line do you have (i.e T1, T3)?
4. How many lines do you have (Just for wireless)?
5. What type of speed do you students get(both download and upload)
just an average?

Thank you in advance,
