HI All

We're using Nortel (which is basically Trapeze) gear for our wireless
solution. We have about 50 laptops we sign out at the library for students
to use. As a front end to logging in, these laptops use Novell, and
therefore need their network connection to come up during boot before they
can log in.

What we've done is create a separate ssid for these and we use WPA-PSK with
TKIP for encryption/authentication. The laptops are imaged to have the ssid
as being automatically connect and have the PSK (pre-shared key, also called
the network key) stored in them for that ssid.

We have seen problems with the laptops where sometimes (about 20% of the
time) they won't bring up their network connection. It seems that on these
laptops (a variety of hardware, but mostly LenovoT60), if we uninstall the
AEGIS client under the properties of their network connection, it seems to
work.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has seen issues with this.

Thanks
