This one has me stuck, so I thought I'd see if anyone else has run into it. I have two Vista laptops with different models of wireless cards that will not work on any SSID on our Meru wireless network. However, they will work on a Linksys WRT54G I have in my office for testing. I've updated drivers, removed all wireless profiles, disabled firewall, etc with no success. We have a couple hundred other Vista machines on our Meru wireless network that work fine. One is a Dell Inspiron 1420 with a Dell 1390 WLAN Mini-Card, the other is an Everex with an Atheros AR5005G. The laptops will associate to the AP, get an IP address, and then do nothing. According to the Network and Sharing Center, the laptop is connected to an "Unidentified Network" with "Local Only" access. I can't ping anything or do any DNS lookups, but ipconfig shows all the correct information. A packet capture shows the laptop sending out large amounts of ARP broadcasts, trying to find the default gateway MAC of the VLAN, but it never gets any responses. Another strange thing... If I do a "Status" on the network connection, it shows 0 packets sent and a varying number received. Anyone have any thoughts? Nathan Nathan P.
