We had quite a few issues moving forward with 4.2.62. If you have
configuration issues after upgrading to 4.2.62 - DON'T - try to load a backup
config file from 4.xxx code to the new 4.2.62 WLCs. I made this error and put
5 - WLCs (2.5 WiSMs) back to the install wizard. We had to manually console
into the WiSMs and start from new.

Also the 4.2.62 has new code for the access points, so each will need to
download the new code. Remember this takes about 4 minutes per access point
and each WLC can only upgrade 4 at a time, so 8 per WiSM. If you have a large
installed wireless network plan on this downtime.

Versions

Software Version 4.2.61.0
Boot Version 12.3.7.1

Model AIR-AP1131AG-A-K9
IOS Version 12.4(10b)JA

Just a couple points from many issues that had to be resolved.

If anyone wants more information please feel free to contact me directly.
Until I have the source of our issues figured out I do not want it to seem like
I am pointing fingers at anyone.

I would be interested in any feedback on the upgrades to WCS 4.2 as well. Any
gotchas or heads up would be appreciated.

Lee - Could you please describe for me the "One Touch Process" you mention? I
am not sure of what you are refering to.

Thanks
