We're seeing the new higher-end conference room projectors coming in
with wireless cards enabled and making a lot of noise. You need special
console software to use them in peer-to-peer fashion, and they have
wireless NICs on board that naturally don't have variable power, so they
end up being a roughly 35 mW dead-end rogue. To boot, no one is really
using them yet, as the need to use console software precludes "just
anybody" from being able to wirelessly connect to them. Would like to
find the least cheesiest way to actually let folks use these without
hosing a all the nearby APs.

Has anyone gone down this road, pray tell?
