I just upgraded to 4.2.176 over the holiday which went well. I did upgrade to 5.1.151 a few months back, but the controllers on the WiSM kept hanging every 48 hours or so. I had to downgrade to 4.2.130 to solve the problem. The bug we ran into was CSCso20452. I believe this bug may have been fixed in the latest 5.2 release. Personally I'm going to wait for a couple more releases of the 5.2 code before upgrading to it.
We have ~ 270 APs on one WiSM and anywhere from 1,300 to 1,600 clients connected at any point in time.
