We went with the 1252s over the 1140s for that very reason. We even have
a few mounted at 45 degree angles around the campus.

The 1140s are very similar to the 1130s and when we purchased a good
number of them for our dorms our Cisco SE made sure that we understood
that they were meant to be installed horizontally. It’s been
challenging to say the least, but that’s how we have installed them.
