We tested several different vendors and settled on Powerdsine. The biggest issue we ran into was the robustness of the on-board management software. We had several instances where other vendors would crash, requiring the box to be restarted. The Powerdsine boxes were the most robust, but not perfect so we still have switchport ACL's in place to restrict traffic to campus nets and are moving them to private IP address space.
