Most of our wireless was actually using power injectors, so we stuck
with those until we began upgrading the switching infrastructure. We are
now using Cisco switches with integrated POE, so we have replaced most
of the injectors with those. We only replaced the main switch in each
closet with a POE one, but when we roll out VoIP (someday) we will
probably need to evaluate midspans once again since I don't see us
replacing all of our switches with VoIP capable units.

Joe,

What midspans did you finally settle on? if you don't mind me
asking.....
We've been using Powerdsine and I guess I'm looking for an
alternative...
This question is open to anyone else who wants to weigh in and thank you

in advance!

ones that worked the management piece was a pain to configure and
maintain.
