How do you keep track of what device is connected to what port on the PowerDsine?
On occasion, I need to reboot a camera or some other PoE device. The only way I know is to track this manually on paper or manually set some port description for the port on the PowerDsine (bldg-camera-1 -> bldg-poe-3 port 8). We might be buying 100+ of these units and it would be handy if Microsemi offered a centralized aggregate way to see these. FWIW we are happy with the eval thus far. Someone else correctly posted that the 7000 series (EOL as of January 1, 2010) is not 802.3at compliant but the 9000 series is.
