WiFiFoFum is still available for windows mobile 6.x if you have any old windows mobile phones hanging around. I've just downloaded "Wifi Analyser" to use on a work Galaxy Tab. (it's free with ads). It's got quite a few options for how to display the signal strength and SSID's it finds. I've not had a chance to test it against anything else yet in terms of accuracy yet though.
