Joe,
The first year our issue was the dhcp proxy setting on the controller. The second year the issue was with the ticket scanners. Upgrading the firmware on those devices solved the issue. The troubleshooting part was the one that took forever. Especially because the scanners would get an IP one time and then they would stop getting IPs for no reason. I hope this helps. This was the main issue which prevent us from supporting their scanners on our infrastructure. We decided to create a special SSID for Ticket Master. Their only encryption requirement was WPA-TKIP. A peculiarity of their system was that they required bootp for the IP assignment of the handheld devices. This was troublesome in the beginning but we eventually made it work. We've been told they have plans to move to DHCP. Another issue that we ran into was on the days of the events. The artist's buses, over ten of them, were parked near one of the gates where tickets were being scanned, and they all had their own mobile WiFi hotspots. This caused significant interference with our WAPs. In the end, we ended up providing wireless to the buses. Are you running with Ticket master's own WLAN as a competing wireless island alongside yours, or were you able to adapt your WLAN to accommodate a TM SSID and vlan?
