It's an interesting idea and I wonder how it will play out with all the vendor participation. I would want to be a part of it just to see how that goes. As you point out, the potential for information overload (good and bad) is there, and it might end up being the one factor that turns people away. The educause listserv stays busy but not so much that we can't keep up with it on a regular basis.
